PFCU Future Leaders Scholarship
Picatinny Federal Credit Union is searching for the next Future Leaders to earn this year’s scholarships! PFCU is offering two eligible students a $2,000 scholarship to their school of choice for the Fall of 2024 semester.
For eligibility, applicants must be:
A graduating high
school senior
A member of Picatinny
Federal Credit Union
Accepted to an accredited College, University, or Technical/Trade school for the Fall of 2024 semester
Registered for at least 12 credits for the semester
Items for qualification:
- Fill out the form below
- Submit a 500-1,000 word essay
- An official high school transcript. The transcript must be non-weighted on a 4.0 scale
- A sealed letter of recommendation from a teacher
Essay Topic:
In 1,000 words or fewer (min. 500 words):
How have you contributed to positive change within your community?
- Please submit a Word document or PDF file containing the essay below
- Essay format should include an easy-to-read typeface and size, students may utilize their respective high school’s formatting regulation
For consideration, the above items must be submitted on or before April 29, 2024. Mailed items must have a postmarked date of April 28, 2024. Please send all the mailed items to:

*PFCU uses a committee to determine the scholarship winner. PFCU employees, volunteers and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate. Students applying for the scholarship must be a member of Picatinny Federal Credit Union. Any non-member applicant, who submits a form, will not be considered and will be disqualified. In the event of insufficient eligible applicants, PFCU may not offer scholarship dollars. For more questions, contact the credit union.
