Setting Up Apple Pay

Open the wallet app on your iPhone 6, iPhone 6s, iPhone SE or later
and tap add credit or debit card.

Follow the steps to add a new card. If you’re asked to add the card that you use with your iTunes account, just enter the security code on the back of the card and tap next. If you don’t have a card on file with iTunes, click add a credit or debit card and follow the instructions to add a card.

Your information will be verified and your card will be added to Apple Pay. Now you’re ready to start shopping. And you will continue to get all the rewards, benefits and security of your cards.

Paying with Apple Pay

With your iPhone you can pay in stores that accept contactless payments. Just look for the Apple Pay symbols at checkout. When paying for a purchase, there’s no need to wake your display or open an app. To pay, just hold your iPhone near the contactless reader and press the Touch ID. Or you can double-click the Home Button when your iPhone is locked to access wallet and quickly make your purchases.

Apple Pay is The Safer Way to Pay

Since you don’t have to show your credit or debit card, you never reveal your name, card number or security code to the cashier. Apple Pay assigns a unique number for each purchase. Your actual credit or debit card numbers are never shared by Apple, so your payments are private and secure.
